Village Dairy Wildberg

I grew up in a cheese dairy in a typical Bernese farming village. This environment left a lasting impression on me and led me to the cheese-making profession. Emmentaler cheese has been a part of my life ever since my apprenticeship as a cheesemaker.

For over a hundred years, Emmental cheese has been made in Wildberg in the Zurich Oberland. In the new cheese dairy built in 2021, it is now also produced together with other types of specialty cheeses. We are taking this variety of cheese into the future in the tradition of producing cheese on a commercial cheese-making basis.
