This close connection to cheese has certainly influenced me in my choice of profession. When I had to decide whether to become a carpenter or a cheesemaker, the versatility of the food industry convinced me and I have never regretted my decision to become a cheesemaker.
With a lot of passion, heart and soul I stand beside the cheese kettle every day and process the milk of my eight suppliers into tasty Emmentaler. Since my predecessor became world champion at the World Championship Cheese Contest 2003, our cheese can be found in many Volg stores in Switzerland.»
