“Making such a mighty and amazing Emmentaler from raw milk has always fascinated me, even as a child. Growing up in a cheese dairy, it was always clear to me that I wanted to become a cheesemaker.

My older brother, who is also a cheesemaker, has inherited our father’s cheese dairy. I became owner of the village cheese dairy in Guntershausen, which is located in a quiet area, but not far from Winterthur.

I want to produce simple, healthy and delicious Emmentaler AOP. It has been awarded several times at the World Championship Cheese Contest.”
